Common questions
Does Hekana take a commission on sales?
No — 0% commission on sales, on every plan. You pay the subscription if you choose a paid plan, plus the online payment fee (3.5% + EGP 3.50 per card payment) and shipping costs when you use them.
Can I accept cash on delivery?
Yes. Cash on delivery is available on every plan, including the free Starter plan. When you ship with Bosta, Mylerz or Turbo, the courier collects the amount from your customer at delivery.
How does shipping work?
On every plan, including the free Starter plan, you book shipments with Bosta, Mylerz or Turbo from your dashboard, on Hekana's account, so you don't need your own carrier contract. You see the shipping price when you book, and you decide what to charge your customer.
Is a domain included?
Every store works free on yourstore.hekana.com. Connecting your own domain (e.g. mystore.com) comes with the paid plans: 1 on Growth, 3 on Business and 5 on Advanced. No domain? Buy one from your dashboard — you see the full price before you pay. On a yearly Growth, Business or Advanced plan, one .com domain is free for its first year; from the second year you renew it at the normal price, and nothing renews automatically unless you turn auto-renew on.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Starter is free with no commitment. On a paid plan you can cancel from settings at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and doesn't renew. Your store data is kept.
