2. Data We Collect

9. The Hekana Merchant App

The Hekana Merchant app for Android and iOS is how a merchant runs their store from a phone. In addition to the above, it involves:

• Notification token: a token issued by your device's operating system so we can notify you of new orders. It identifies the device, not you personally, and is revoked when you sign out.
• Photos you choose: adding a product image opens your camera or photo library and uploads only the image you pick. The app does not read your library otherwise.
• Your session on the device: your sign-in token is held in the device's own protected storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore), not in ordinary app files.
• Crash reports: where crash reporting is enabled, a diagnostic report is sent when the app stops unexpectedly. It carries no personal data.

You can delete your account from inside the app, under Settings → Account → Delete account. Only the store owner may do so, and the password is required. Deletion is scheduled 30 days ahead and can be cancelled at any point in that period. Once it completes, your personal data and your customers' is removed — but paid orders and their invoices are retained as accounting records we are required by law to keep, with the personal details stripped out of them.

10. Modifications

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or a notice on the platform.
