A customer who bought sells better than any description you write
A visitor who doesn't know you is looking for one thing: what somebody before them made of it. Reviews here work at two levels — a review of the product itself and a review of the store as a whole — and you control what gets published, and reply to whatever needs a reply.
What it actually does
Two levels of review
A customer can review the product they bought, and can also review their experience of the store as a whole — the shipping, the packaging, the service. Each has its own screen in the dashboard.
Moderation before publishing
A review from a signed-in customer publishes immediately; a review from a guest waits for your approval. That lets genuine reviews through quickly and puts the questionable ones in front of you first.
Your reply
Reply to any review and the reply appears beneath it. A composed reply to a negative review reads far better than a hidden one.
Photos and helpful votes
Customers can attach photos to a review, and other visitors can mark a review as helpful — so the useful ones rise to the top.

Common questions
Can I delete a bad review?

Can a visitor who didn't buy leave a review?
They can submit one, but it waits for your approval before it appears.
Do reviews affect how products are ordered?
The average rating and the number of reviews appear on the product page and help a visitor decide.
Can I ask a customer for a review?
Reviews are left from the product page or the store reviews page — you can put that link in your message after delivery.
