Common questions
Does the SSL certificate cost anything?
No. It is issued and renewed automatically for both the subdomain and your own domain.
How long does a domain take to activate?
After you add the records, activation usually takes anywhere from minutes to a few hours depending on your domain provider and DNS propagation. The domain page shows you the status as it changes.
What if I change my mind about the domain?
yourstore.hekana.com keeps working permanently, so you can remove or swap your custom domain without the store going down.
Can I connect a domain I bought elsewhere?
Yes, with a CNAME record and without transferring ownership. Buying through Hekana is an option, not a requirement.
